This was a project for my ADV93 class. I chose censorship as my theme. The most challenging part of this project was dulling down the imagery to focus on typography. I think typography is an art form I want to learn more about. If i could re-do this project I would have brainstormed more. These final products are completely differnt than what I orginally drew up, I just kept coming up with more and found it overwhelming to narrow down to my top contenders. If I could instantly learn a new skill it would be how to properly place typography in an effective way! I struggle to grasp effective placement when looking to fill negative space. I would suggest starting with tons of brainstorming, by laying out everything you can in front of you, you can see patterns of the themes you're drawn towards and what ideas might work better together rather than alone.
